As a teacher, Ezra seeks to develop a caring and respectful learning environment, with the understanding that all people involved in the learning process have value to contribute. The learning space is a place where thoughts, feelings, and experiences can be explored freely and without concern for judgement. As an enthusiastic learner himself, Ezra enjoys meeting healers in the learning space. His teaching style is creative, collaborative, and experiential. Ezra enjoys supporting a learning process that leads people to discover new capacities within themselves as healers and as humans!

Clinical Supervision

Clinical supervision is a two to five year learning experience for Social Work professionals working towards a clinical practice license (LCSW). Ezra has experience providing clinical and field supervision in a variety of professional settings for close to a decade. He has been certified and trained to provide clinical supervision by NCSASW, and participates in regular professional development groups for clinical supervisors, and attends on-going trainings for clinical supervisors. As a somatic psychotherapist and trained supervisor, Ezra is skilled at providing clinical supervision for practitioners seeking to practice body-integrated psychotherapy. Ezra takes his clinical supervisees on a deep exploration into what it means to provide body-integrated psychotherapy. Ezra weaves together the theoretical tools of the profession, neuroscience, and somatic methods, to engage flow and resiliency in the body. He also integrates how to work with obsessive paradigms that have been internalized and stored in the body. Supervisees learn practical approaches and techniques for bringing healing to trauma and attachment wounding, while also establishing a somatic sense in their own body, by using the information provided by their autonomic nervous system, to do somatic psychotherapy moment-to-moment with their clients.

Clinical Case Consultation

Clinical case consultation is offered to licensed health care professionals of any therapy profession, who seek professional development with body-integrated therapy techniques. This can happen with one, several, or on-going meetings, depending on what is desired. Ezra partners with his colleagues to wed the traditional foundations of psychotherapy with the subtle art of body-integrated healing work. Somatic psychotherapy offers the opportunity to do very deep work that is anchored in the body and sustained for life! Integrating the body into psychotherapy brings qualities of vitality and joy to the healing process that are unique and can feel very positive and exciting. Clinical case consultation is a space to get critical perspective on one’s cases, while also exploring one's approach with somatic healing and how this method best fits individual practice-style. CE’s for licensure are possible depending on board conditions. If you are interested in obtaining CE’s, please state this when inquiring about a consultation.
