About Our Clinic
We are Asheville's only low-fee clinic, specializing in trauma care. We provide quality mental health services on a sliding scale basis, to those who may not otherwise get the support they need. Therapy is provided by advanced-level graduate students who have gone through an extensive application and vetting process, and who possess substantial training and knowledge. Without their skill and dedication, we would not be able to provide this much needed service to our community. Our clinic Founder/Director/Supervisor is Ezra Post, MSW, LCSW, SEP.
All clinic rates are need-based, determined by you and your therapist, and paid in cash or by check on or before your sessions. The rate per 50 - minute individual/couple/family session starts at $60.00 and adjusts down to as low as $15.00. Payment for group therapy is typically at a lower flat fee, set according to each particular group. Please express your your financial situation with your therapist during intake so you can determine the most manageable rate for you. All check payments should be made to, "Ezra Post". There will be a flat fee of $35.00 for each returned check, regardless of your hourly session fee previously agreed upon, and a limit to the amount of returned checks accepted.
APPOINTMENT CHANGE POLICY
Because the need for our service is great, we ask that you provide 24 - hours notice, at the vary least, when you need to cancel or change an appointment. That way we can fit someone else in. There will be a charge for missed appointments with less than 24 - hours notice, according to our appointment change policy detailed in the paperwork you receive as a new client. Please speak with your therapist for further information about our appointment change policy.
