If you are a trauma specialist or professional who enjoys trauma and attachment work, and you are seeking a sustainable approach to doing this work, you may be interested in becoming an associate provider at TSH. The associate opportunity is designed in such a way that professionals can continue to heal, learn, and grow in their own unique ways, while benefiting from all the positive aspects of an intentional healing community. Associates have the opportunity to explore and establish a practice that feels right to them, without much of the pressures common to maintaining a practice.
Associate providers are independent business entities, who sub-contract with the group as 1099 contractors. As a contractor associates pay an association fee to the group practice. This association fee is tax deductible, and enables associates to function as a private practice. Associates determine their own work schedule, business orientation (with an emphasis on serving our group mission), methodology of treatment, caseload, marketing, etc.
As an associate provider, you pay into the group 35% of the gross income you earn from your business on site. In return you receive from the group:
Office space in a prime location with free off-street parking - all utilities included, and tissues and toiletries provided
Regular office and building cleaning and lawn care
Flexibility for growing/maintaining your business with low overhead, the way you want it
Group paneling with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina
Group paneling with Medicare (LCSWs only)
Participation in our monthly circle meet-up. In circle meet-up, we focus on sharing practice techniques and mindfulness practices, do group consults, and see training videos of our choosing, paid for by the group. (CEs general/ethics may or may not be included in training opportunities, depending on licensure).
Inclusion on our website and all group marketing materials
Individualized business cards and brochures
Access to group practice forms and resources
Discounted clinical supervision for associate licensed providers
A term-free contract with no monthly or buy-in fees, and reasonable minimum billable hours
Referrals from providers within the group and community partners
** As a provider your associate fees also support our low-fee clinic, offering a unique and valuable service to our community!
